On 6th June 2025, CaFFE hosted a project review meeting at our office in Rajagiriya with representatives from the Swiss Embassy – Justine Boillat (First Secretary ) and Kannishka Rathapriya (Political Officer).

Our Executive Director Manas Makeen, along with Surangi Ariyawansa (Director – Admin) and Harendra Banagala(Head of Legal) joined the discussion.

Key topics included the last local elections, the status of provincial councils, and the role and representation of women at the local level — especially their awareness and digital knowledge in various governance areas.

Together, we’re working toward stronger, more inclusive local governance.
