The second leg of the Janani Project, which attempts to increase the digital literary of grassroots female political activists, commenced on Saturday (25) at Kegalle.
The workshop, which was held at Ambasewana City Hotel, Colombo – Kandy Rd, Kegalle saw the participation of a large number of grassroots female political activists as well as civil society activists.
The guest speakers for the event was IRES Executive Director, Manjula Gajanayake and Hi TV editor senior journalist, Harindra Nissanka.
CaFFE Executive Director, Manas Makeen presided over the workshop, which was organized by CaFFE Kegalle District Coordinator of the Janani Project, Ms.Indrani Lekamge.
