CaFFE District coordinators training program was held on 24th and 25th of july at
Beverly Beach Hotel, Negombo.
District coordinators from all 25 district and long term observers also participated.
The objective of the training to educate district organisers to play an effective role in field to ensure voters rights. Further as a resource person’s Commissioner General of the Election department Mr. Saman Rathnayake covered -Election law and election procedure, Motivation and peaceful election campaign covered by Brother Chares and Campaign Finance,Campaign finance monitoring tool was covered by Ms.Piumi Madushani (program manager of TISL)
Finally identified the election violence Hotspots to give more attention in our field monitoring. CaFFE believes that this effective training will contribute to a peaceful and democratic election process.
